Liability For Onward Transfers
Covered Bridge Data complies with the Onward Transfer Principle of the Data Privacy Framework (DPF), which governs the transfer of personal data to third parties. When transferring personal data to third-party service providers or partners, Covered Bridge Data remains responsible for ensuring that these third parties process personal data in accordance with the DPF Principles. Covered Bridge Data may be held liable if third parties process personal data in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles, unless Covered Bridge Data can prove it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. We take steps to ensure that any third parties receiving personal data provide the same level of privacy protection as required by the DPF Principles.
